Before joining up with Missions Resource Network, we had already made much headway. Individually we had prepared by gaining evangelistic and ministry experience both in formal and informal venues. We had engaged in personal study and devotion and been active in our church communities. We had sought language preparation both in formal school settings and through personal study. We had begun fundraising from churches with which we have relationships and connections. And as a team we had both deepened our friendships and developed our plans—discussing and strategizing over email, on the phone, and during meetings. |
